Fortune: AT&T Makes 'Final' Contract Offer to 20,000 Wireless Workers

AT&T made what it called a "final offer" directly to about 20,000 unionized employees in its wireless business who have been working without a contract since February. But the Communications Workers of America union, which represents the employees, blasted the proposal and the company's effort to email the terms directly to employees ahead of a planned bargaining session scheduled for next week.

AT&T Wireless Workers Try To Bring Political Pressure To End Contract Stalemate

As a contract standoff between AT&T and 21,000 unionized workers in its mobile business drags into a eighth month, the employees are trying to increase political pressure on the carrier.So far, 255 state and local politicians have sent letters to AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson backing the workers, the Communications Workers of America union says.

Orange Agreement on Sept/Oct Commission Agreement

We are pleased to report that an agreement has been signed as of today which gives the proposed changes to retail commissions for September and October to members covered by the Orange contract, while protecting the Union's position - which is that we have a standing request to bargain commissions and any and all changes to commissions must be bargained with the Union.
