Rain or Shine, 1101 Members Are Out Calling for a Fair Contract at AT&T Mobility

Local 1101 members from AT&T Mobility workers were out in force this weekend. Friday we protested at the Tribeca Film Festival, which is being sponsored by AT&T. It's a familiar venue for 1101 members since the film festival is being held at 50 Varick Street, Verizon Central Office and now also Spring Studios.

Free tuition to SUNY and CUNY students whose families earn $125,000 or less a year

CWA Local 1101 joined Hillary Clinton at LaGuardia Community College in support of  Governor Cuomo's ceremonial signing of NYS's new free tuition program, The Excelsior Scholarship Program. The program was included as part of the states new budget and offers free tuition to SUNY and CUNY students whose families earn $125,000 or less a year.

AT&T's CWA-represented California, Nevada wireline workers settle strike

Local 1101 Members Protest AT&T Mobility Managers’ Town Hall Meeting

AT&T Mobility managers entering a midtown Manhattan hotel this morning for a Town Hall meeting were met with a surprise. AT&T Mobility members and Executive Board officers from Local 1101 greeted them outside with a giant rat and a rowdy protest. Passersby stopped to find out what was going on, hotel guests posed for pictures with the protestors, and managers got an earful on the way in.

AT&T Mobility Workers Dial It Up
