NYC African American Day Parade: Sunday, September 17

Join CWA Local 1101 and other Communications Workers of America locals and District 1 at the New York City African American Day parade on Sunday, September 17. This year the African American Day Parade celebrates 48 years in the legendary Harlem, New York. CWA will meet at 12pm on West 112 Street, east side of the street, between St Nicholas Ave and Adam Clayton Powell Blvd at 12pm. Collective Bargaining Class Begins August 28: Register Now!

Join Local 1101 members for a great class on Collective Bargaining, how it works, key concepts and techniques, and tactics and strategies used by both labor and management. Meet union members from other locals across the city. The class meets once a week for 16 weeks. It's part of the CUNY/Cornell Labor Studies Certificate Program, and members earn 4 college-level credits.
