Improvements in Dependent Care, Summer Camp and a New Defensive Driving Benefit

There are big improvements to the regional Work and Family Programs. Dependent Care Reimbursement and Summer Camp Reimbursement are both increasing, and there is a new defensive driving benefit. See below for details and how to access program applications.
Dependent Care Reimbursement is increasing to $75 per week for one child effective 6/1/21.
Summer Camp Reimbursement is increasing to a maximum of $1500 per family.
Defensive Driving Reimbursement (new!) will be $100 per family every three years, effective 1/1/21.
The Regional Joint Work/Family Committee is a bargained-for committee established in 1990. The Regional Committee comprises of six Senior Level Managers and six Local Union Officers representing CWA New York / New England, Verizon, and IBEW 2213. Check out the new website, with descriptions and applications for all the programs here.
