Help Protect our Telecom Work!

For decades, when our companies' telecommunications equipment had to be moved, it's been done by CWA-represented workers, ensuring the safety and quality of the work. One Touch Make Ready allows other companies (and their contractors) to move existing Verizon equipment - whether they're experienced with that equipment or not - and put our jobs at risk.

This will destroy good jobs by allowing unskilled contractors to do the work that should be done by career employees who know the condition of the equipment and poles and have been professionally trained. These are our jobs! We must pass legislation that protects our work and STOPS One Touch Make Ready, or our members will be at serious risk of job loss and layoffs.
