A Terrible Tragedy

Brothers and Sisters: 

As many of you know a PPA was shot and killed in Brooklyn this morning while working on a Law and Order production. This is a horrible tragedy and a tremendous blow to the PPAs, Coordinators and the entire CWA Local 1101 community.

We have been in talks with the AMPTP and Universal Labor Relations, and Business Agent Afori Bobb was at the scene today.  There are very few details available as of right now, but we are doing everything we can to gather as much information as possible. Please keep Johnny Pizarro and his family in your thoughts. We will share any information as it becomes available.
