Verizon Bargaining update

As you know, our current collective bargaining agreement with Verizon does not expire until August 2023. However, Verizon, CWA and IBEW are jointly announcing today that we will be entering into three weeks of bargaining beginning May 16, 2022 to determine whether it is possible to agree on the terms of a contract extension. We will keep you posted on further developments. Dennis Trainor, CWA District 1 Vice President
