NYC Council Primary Elections are Tues, Sept 12

You'll recognize the faces of a number of current City Council members who are running for re-election - Margaret Chin, Corey Johnson, Ben Kallos, Mark Levine and Ritchie Torres. They've all walked our picket lines, supported our fight to bring FIOS to every New Yorker, and fought to protect quality telecom service for all New Yorkers, regardless of income level.

The candidates running for open seats, where incumbents are term limited or not running for reelection - Carlina Rivera, Marti Speranza, Diana Ayala, and Marjorie Velasquez - have demonstrated their commitment to working families and working peoples' issues in their current positions and activism.

Please take some time to learn about the candidates. And whatever you do, make sure you VOTE on Tuesday.
