The Union Bargaining Committee has been meeting with AMPTP for the last several months. While there has been some very positive movement made, we remain far apart on some crucial issues. We are still optimistic that the new contract will be agreed upon soon, the Bargaining Committee will not settle for anything less than a fair and equitable contract. 

The Contract expires today and is not going to be extended, but we will continue to work under the terms and conditions of the previous contract until we reach a deal. As soon as we have more information, we will put it out to you.
