Assemble at 10:15am on south side of 57th Street at Broadway.  The big corporations that are fighting measures to reduce global warming pollution are the same corporate interests that are attacking our wages, benefits and working conditions. We know from our own experience they will do anything to increase their profits, from firing workers who stand up for justice on the job to covering up the effects of toxic chemicals on our health.

World Trade Center Registry Deadline is Thur, Sept 11

If you participated in the rescue, recovery and clean-up of the World Trade Center through September 12, 2002, please register your service with the New York State Workers' Compensation Board. This will preserve your right to future benefits, should you ever need them.

Today is Primary Day

Today is Primary Election Day for State and Local candidates in New York City and the counties of Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, Orange, Putnam and Erie. Polls are open until 9pm. You can find your polling location  here. Last week Mayor Bill deBlasio endorsed our good friend Pete Sikora for the 52nd Assembly District seat in Brooklyn.

AT&T Lays Off 400 members in IL & CA; Tell AT&T Regional President That's Wrong

Last week, AT&T closed the doors on a call center in Springfield, IL. This week, two more call centers in Atwater, CA shuttered. That's almost another 400 jobs gone in one fell swoop. Jobs for your brothers and sisters that no longer exist.
