NYSNA Nurses Give Strike Notification to Hospitals

On Monday, March 18 nurses delivered giant boards notifying management of their intent to strike at three major NYC hospital systems. This follows a 97% strike authorization vote by nurses at Mt Sinai, Montefiore, and New York Presbyterian hospital systems.

CWA and UAW call on Ways and Means Committee to hold AT&T, GM, and Wells Fargo executives accountable during tax oversight effort

CWA and the United Automobile Workers (UAW) sent a letter this week to members of the Ways and Means Committee, including committee chair Rep. Richard Neal (D-MA), urging the full committee to investigate how AT&T, General Motors, Wells Fargo and other major corporations are spending the enormous tax cut benefits they received from the 2018 tax bill.

Scholarship Deadlines Approaching

CWA Local 1101 awards scholarships each year for 1101 members, their spouses and children, and retirees and their family members.
