General Membership/Budget Meeting, Thur Nov 17

The CWA Local 1101 General Membership/Budget Meeting will be Thursday, November 17 at 5:30pm at the High School of Fashion Industries, 225 West 24 Street, NY NY 10011. In addition to presenting the annual budget we'll have updates on new organizing, new contracts, and Local 1101 activities. Hope to see you there!

Join us! Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Oct 23

This year 290,560 people in this country will be diagnosed with breast cancer. We all know someone who has been affected by breast cancer.  CWA Local 1101 will be participating in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in the Bronx to help raise money to support patients, survivors and caregivers. We've been doing this walk for many years, and we're thrilled it's back in full swing in 2022! Want to join our team? Walk with us!

CWA Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month

This year as the nation recognizes it's 54th Hispanic Heritage Celebration, CWA National Women's Committee and the Committee on Civil  Rights and Equity, share in the celebration with our Hispanic sisters and brothers and their families. Latinos today contribute towards the advancement of our communities across the country as public servants, veterans, teachers, small business owners, alongside many other professions. Hispanic Heritage Month allows us to recognize their achievements and contributions to our national story.

African American Day Parade is Sept 18!

The African American Day Parade is back!  Join us on Sunday, September 18 at 12pm. If you've been to the parade before you know what a great event it is. If you haven't been, now's your chance! It's a terrific day of music, dance performances, and celebration of African American culture and Harlem. CWA will have a float, food, music, and lots of union members and our families. Join us!
