2026 Verizon Work & Family Reimbursement Program Updates

You should have received the "2026 Reimbursement Program Update" to your company email earlier today. The amounts for the Summer Camp, Dependent Care Reimbursement, and Pendants program are listed below. Unfortunately the Health & Wellness (gym reimbursement) and College Book Reimbursement Programs are suspended effective 2026.
As we reported earlier, new programs were very popular and the funds were depleted faster than anticipated. The Fund will be replenished later this year with new bargained-for funds. We don't know yet what the status of the suspended programs will be for 2027. We'll keep you posted as soon as that is determined by the Regional Work and Family Committee.
VZ Email: 2026 Reimbursement program updates
The New York/New England Regional Joint Work and Family Committee is proud to announce the continuation of the following reimbursement programs in 2026 to help support employees and their families:
- Summer Camp program: Receive up to $500 per child, with a maximum reimbursement of $1000 per family, for eligible dependents up to age 16.
- Dependent care reimbursement: Receive up to $100 per week per family, paid monthly.
- Pendant program: Receive up to $60 per month for a medical alert device (up to two devices per member), paid quarterly.
Important reminder: Employees may participate in either the dependent care reimbursement program or the summer camp reimbursement program, but not concurrently.
As part of the Committee’s annual review of program offerings, the health & wellness and college books reimbursement programs are suspended effective 2026.
