NYC African American Day Parade is Sunday, Sept 19

The 52nd Annual African American Day parade is Sunday, September 19. It will be streaming live at 12pm on PIX11.com/aadp, including CWA Local 1101's video submission. For all streaming options please click here.

CWA Local 1101 has proudly participated in the parade for many years. This year's parade theme is "Education is the Foundation" and will honor individuals that have contributed to the African American community in the field of Education. CWA Local 1101's 2021 video includes interviews with four young people who received scholarships from CWA Local 1101 this year or in previous years, talking about why education is important to them.
