Certify the ERA Now!

The Equal Rights Amendment has been in the works for almost 100 years. In 1972, the amendment passed in Congress. Now 50 years later, the required 38 states have voted to ratify the ERA—but it can't be added to the U.S. Constitution until the Acting Archivist of the U.S. certifies and publishes the ERA as the 28th Amendment.

With Virginia becoming the 38th state to ratify, the ERA is valid and has met ALL Constitutionally defined terms to become the 28th Amendment of the United
States. We are writing to demand that Debra Steidel Wall, the Acting Archivist of the U.S., certify and publish the ERA now!
