CWA Joe Beirne Scholarship applications for 2022-2023 are open
The Joe Beirne Scholarship program is accepting applications for the 2022-2023 school year. Sixteen new scholarships of $4,000 each for two years will be awarded by CWA's Joe Beirne Scholarship program.
Eligible for the scholarships are CWA members, their spouses, children, and grandchildren, including the dependents of retired, laid-off, or deceased members. Applications are available on the Foundation’s website here. Winners will be chosen in a lottery drawing.
The program honor's CWA's founding president, who served for more than 30 years. Joe Beirne took great pride in the role he played in furthering educational opportunity and working for social justice.
