Join the CWA 1101 Breast Cancer Warriors on Oct 25!
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. We at CWA 1101 have a long history of walking with survivors and allies during the Making Strides Against Cancer walk every year. We’ll be walking in solidarity again this October… and we want you by our side!
Mark your calendars for Sunday, 10/25 to come out to Orchard Beach in the Bronx to join hands in solidarity!
There are all kinds of ways to get involved and show your support for CWA survivors:
- Join the CWA 1101 Warriors team
- Come to a bake sale: See if your shop is hosting a bake sale and find the one closest to you
- Buy a t-shirt (note they’re local NYC pickup only*)
- Meet us at Orchard Beach, Bronx at 8am on 10/25
All proceeds will go toward the American Cancer Society to fund cancer research, patient support, and advocacy efforts to end breast cancer once and for all.
There are a lot of ways to join hands in solidarity here at 1101 — whether it’s on the shop floor, at the bargaining table, or walking side-by-side against breast cancer in the Bronx. We hope to see you there!
