Remembering the CWA Heroes of September 11

Nineteen years after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 we remember the CWA members who died on that terrible day. We salute the thousands of fellow CWA members who worked to rebuild and restore networks and services for months afterward. We recognize the many CWA members who currently suffer from the illnesses they got from working at Ground Zero, and the members who lost their lives to those illnesses in the years since. Many of those workers are and were members of Local 1101. We are grateful for your work and your sacrifice, and we will never forget what you gave and what you did.

On the ten year anniversary of 9/11 CWA made a video commemorating the members who died in the attacks and those who worked to get things up and running again.  We'd like to share that video again. It stands up well to the test of time.
