Save the dates! Sept Parades are coming

Join CWA at two great fall events - the NYC Labor Day Parade on Saturday, September 7 and the African American Day Parade on Sunday, September 15.

On Saturday, Sept 7, 2024 we'll be marching up Fifth Avenue in the NYC Labor Day Parade with unions and workers from across the City and beyond. We've seen huge growth in the labor movement in the past few years, with workers organizing, joining unions, striking and winning across NYC and the country.  Join the CWA contingent in this year's NYC Labor Day Parade in a celebration of workers' power and union rights. All are welcome!

On Sunday, Sept 15 we'll be in Harlem at the 55th annual African American Day Parade, marching up Adam Clayton Powell Jr Blvd. The theme of this years's parade is Good Leaders = Good Government... Vote!  Join CWA District 1, Local 1101, unions, community organizations, musical groups, marching bands, dancers and performers in a beautiful joyous march through Harlem celebrating African American history and culture. All are welcome! We'll meet at 12pm, enter at West 112 St & St Nicholas Ave. Please share the flyer widely with your family, friends, and coworkers.
