Text Book & Course Materials Reimbursement Program - Verizon members

This year the CWA-IBEW/Verizon Work and Family Committee implemented a new reimbursement program to defray the costs of text books and course materials related to secondary education. The reimbursement benefit is up to $600 per family for the calendar year.

The initial year of the program is 2022, and expenses incurred in 2022 prior to the launch date will be eligible for reimbursement. Expenses incurred in calendar year 2022 can be submitted for reimbursement no later than January 13, 2023. Reimbursements will post February 24, 2023.

The Work and Family Committee is a joint labor/management committee. All the programs are bargained for benefits and can be found on the NY/NE Regional Joint Work & Family Committee website.
