Verizon Annual Enrollment Dates & Important Update on $100 Health Assessment Credit

The annual benefit enrollment dates for 2021 are October 6 - 15. Verizon employees should have already received an enrollment package in the mail from Verizon. To enroll go to BenefitsConnection through About You or at verizon.com/benefitsconnection. From the home page to Suggestions for you > Annual Enrollment > Enroll Now. From there you can update your tobacco user status, add or drop dependents and verify your beneficiaries.

If you don't want to change anything your current benefits elections will automatically continue for 2021 (with the exception of the $100 credit for the health assessment. See below) This includes your current medical (including prescription drug), dental, vision, life and accidental death and dismemberment, disability insurance, tobacco user status and spending account contributions.

IMPORTANT UPDATE

The Health Assessment credit of $100 will not automatically carry over into 2021 as it did in previous years. Verizon announced this year that in order to receive the wellness credit ($100 toward the premium) for 2021, workers need to complete one of the following 'Wellness Activities' between Oct 1, 2020 and Dec 31, 2020.  

1. Get a biometric health screening.
2. Participate in a volunteer activity
3. Participate in WebMD coaching.
4. Complete a Health Assessment.
5. Choose a Primary Care Physician or complete an annual wellness visit.

To register the credit go to BenefitsConnection > I want to > Complete a Wellness Activity by December 31, 2020.
