Work at Home and Home Garaging Ltrs of Agreement Extended through June 30

The Letters of Agreement between Verizon and CWA regarding Work at Home and Home Garaging have both been extended through June 30, 2021. You can read the Letters of Agreement below.

As the Company is planning on returning to workplaces after this pandemic, they have made plans for their administrative groups which include their management staff and nonunion workforce. As you may have seen earlier this week, the Company released a video that described three different work groups, Work Based, Home Based and Hybrid Workforce groups who will be returning to the workplaces over the next four months.

The plans outlined in the Company’s video do not include the unionized workforce. The Company has yet to have these discussions with the Union. We plan on meeting with the Company in the next few weeks to discuss their plans and the impact it may have on our members. In the meantime, we agreed to the Company’s proposals to extend the Covid-19 Work at Home and Home Garaging agreements for another 30 days.
