In the last month we've seen 10,000 jobs cut at Health & Human Service, resulting in more than 870 jobs eliminated at the World Trade Center Health Program, a vital program for many of our members. The 2021 Bipartisan Infrastructure Law included $42 billion in public funding to build out internet infrastructure. CWA members have worked hard to make sure those funds create good, union jobs. Because of that work, the National Telecommunications and Information Administration has prioritized investment in fiber.

Last week the administration cancelled the contracts for nearly 1 million federal workers. Shameful! Join CWA and thousands of union and community members on Saturday, April 5 at 1pm at Bryant Park in a National Day of Action. CWA meet up is 41 St & 5 Ave. Billionaires and billionaire-funded politicians are dismantling everything they can—our jobs, our unions, our healthcare, our retirement, our public services. Standing with TSA Workers

Last week 47,000 TSA workers lost their collective bargaining rights with the stroke of a pen. This is “PATCO on steroids” and sends a message to corporate America that union contracts don’t matter anymore and that it’s open season for union workers. We haven’t seen mass layoffs like that since 2020. Make no mistake - today they’ll come for government workers, tomorrow they’ll come for everyone else. An attack on one is an attack on all.
