Call Center Bill Passes NYS Legislature!

Thanks to the hard work of many CWA members the NYS legislature passed the Call Center Retention Bill requiring the State to protect its workforce and retain workers when a call center contract changes hands. Great job! Thanks everyone who sent an email, made a phone call, attended a rally or visited a lawmaker. All respect to the EZPass workers who worked so hard on this, so whats happening there doesn't happen again

CWA Local 1101 Scholarship Winners 2024-2025

We're happy to announce the CWA Ed Dempsey and CWA Local 1101 Scholarship Winners. We were able to make one $5,000, and thirty-four $1,000 scholarships this year. Amazing! We raise the money for the CWA Local 1101 Scholarship Fund at the Local's yearly Golf Tournament.
