Saturday, September 9 is the NYC Labor Day Parade. March up Fifth Avenue with the CWA contingent. It's a great day with our union family. Bring your family and friends. CWA will gather at 10am on West 45 Street between 6th & 7th Avenues for breakfast. March time is 11:30am. New York City is a union town!

St. Louis, Mo. – In an historic election, Claude Cummings Jr. was elected as president of the Communications Workers of America by delegates to the union’s 79th convention and Ameenah Salaam was elected Secretary-Treasurer.

CWA Local 1101 Scholarship Winners 2023-2024

We're happy to announce the Ed Dempsey and Local 1101 Scholarship Winners for 2023-2024. We were able to make one $5,000, and 30 $1,000 scholarships this year. We raise the money for the CWA Local 1101 Scholarship Fund at the Local's annual Golf Tournament. A great time for a great cause. Click the story headline for the list of winners.
