The African American Day Parade is back! Join us on Sunday, September 18 at 11am. If you've been to the parade before you know what a great event it is. If you haven't been, now's your chance! It's a terrific day of music, dance performances, and celebration of African American culture and Harlem. CWA will have a float, food, music, and lots of union members and our families. Join us!

A Terrible Tragedy

July 20, 2022. Johnny Pizarro, a Parking Production Assistant and CWA Local 1101 member was shot and killed in Brooklyn this morning while working on a Law and Order production. This is a horrible tragedy and a tremendous blow to the PPAs, Coordinators and the entire CWA Local 1101 community.

CWA Local 1101 will be holding the ratification vote on the Verizon contract extension beginning Monday, July 18. Voting will be held at work locations. Your Chief Steward will be in touch with you regarding details.
