In the last month we've seen 10,000 jobs cut at Health & Human Service, resulting in more than 870 jobs eliminated at the World Trade Center Health Program, a vital program for many of our members. Protect Our Work - Make Sure Public Funding Supports Fiber Buildout

The 2021 Bipartisan Infrastructure Law included $42 billion in public funding to build out internet infrastructure. CWA members have worked hard to make sure those funds create good, union jobs. Because of that work, the National Telecommunications and Information Administration has prioritized investment in fiber.
