Labor Studies Classes for College Credits

Are you interested in learning more about labor history, labor law, unions, and working people's struggles? Do you want to be in dialogue with workers and activists from other unions in NYC? Do you have an undergraduate degree you need to finish? The CUNY School of Labor and Urban Studies offers undergraduate and graduate level classes to working adults who want to learn more about the history of unions and labor struggles, labor law and arbitration, and issues confronting working-class people in the workplace and the community.

Support CWA workers on strike in Buffalo!

CWA healthcare workers are still on strike in Buffalo. 2000 nurses, transport workers, dietary workers, techs, and aides at Mercy Hospital/Catholic Health Systems have been on strike since October 1. They're demanding safe staffing levels for patients, and a fair contract for workers. They need our help. Can you make three quick phone calls to Catholic Health Board members today, and tell them to settle a fair contract for CWA healthcare workers that puts patients first?
