How You Can Help Win a Pro-Worker Senate

We will be phone-banking voters in Georgia every Tuesday & Wednesday evening 6-8pm from home. Why? After months of watching the U.S. Senate leadership stall on bills to protect working families, it's clear that we MUST win a pro-worker Senate in order to we achieve real legislative victories to strengthen our rights and get working families relief during the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. The Georgia Senate runoff elections is our chance to do just that!

Happy Thanksgiving CWA Local 1101

I'd like to wish all of our members a Happy Thanksgiving on behalf of the entire Executive Board of CWA Local 1101. It's been a tough year for everyone. We lost five beloved members of our Local to COVID-19. So many of our members have lost family members and friends to the virus. We've had to forgo family celebrations, social events, work and community gatherings, and so much more.

The 2020 Election isn't over and we've got more work to do - Georgia!

The 2020 Election isn't over yet, and we have more work to do. After carefully counting all of the ballots in Georgia (twice!), no U.S. Senate candidate came away with 50% of the vote, forcing a runoff election for two Senate seats. This. Is. HUGE. Thank you to our members who have served, and to all veterans. We recognize and appreciate your service, not just today but everyday. Thank you for your sacrifice, your commitment, and your bravery. Thank you to all those who served, and those who continue to serve today. As CWA President Chris Shelton said before, "As a proud Air Force veteran, I salute the thousands of CWA members and retirees who are veterans for their service.
