VZ Workers: Fidelity Stock Together Accounts

From Verizon to employees re Fidelity brokerage accounts. Stock Together is a broad-based equity award program that creates an opportunity for all of us to share in the success of Verizon and the value we help to create through a discretionary award of Verizon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). In March, you received your first award. If you haven't activated your Fidelity brokerage account you should do that now.

Verizon 4th Quarter Surplus Declaration

Verizon has declared a surplus condition in twenty-eight (28) titles within Force Adjustment Areas ("FAAs") 1 through 6 and Involuntary Transfer Area ("ITA") 5. The surplus titles and numbers can be found below. To alleviate the surplus condition, the Company will invoke the Force Adjustment Plan (FAP) of the collective bargaining agreement.

Tech Workers at Blue State Join CWA Local 1101

Seventy-five employees at creative agency Blue State won voluntary union recognition this week after a neutral third party verified that a majority of the workers had signed union authorization cards. The group, which includes campaign strategists, analysts, designers, account managers, finance specialists, office managers, and developers, is part of CODE-CWA and will be represented by CWA Local 1101.
